Bulletin Board

Definition

A bulletin board is a board that is often affixed to a wall and used to post announcements and other information.

Why use it?

Encourages Language Learning

A multilingual bulletin board can act as a visual assistance for newcomers who are learning a new language to help them acquire new words or even sentences. Students who see their native language spoken in the classroom may also feel more confident about their language abilities. It can be a resource for people who want to improve their language abilities.

Promotes Inclusivity

By acknowledging and valuing the diversity of students' backgrounds, a multilingual bulletin board can contribute to the creation of a more inclusive environment. Additionally, it can stimulate student communication and assist in removing linguistic obstacles. By pointing at the flags or language cards, my students would play the game of "guess the country or language."
